Jackie's Homecoming

Here are Jackie's senior homecoming pants. Each grade has a different color that they wear and as a senior you wear black overalls and decorate them with puffy paint, glitter and gemstones...a lot of time put into these.

Jackie went to homecoming with Nickeles this year and he asked Jackie with some cake and balloons. As everyone knows her plans with Toby fell through...

The pepfest at Lakeville North gets really crazy. They had a whole bunch of shredded paper that the custodial staff dumped on the senior class.

It's sort of a bitter sweet weekend for me as this will be Jackie's last homecoming in high school. I don't know if it's such a bad thing as these dances are always very stressful for both her and I. All the time and expenses that go into the dance itself: dress, shoes, hair, makeup, false eyelashes, tanning, manicure, pedicure, etc.

Here's a picture of all of the girls in the group. They went to a Buca buffet for dinner, then to the dance and then all came over to our house for the "After Party".

Mitch Is Off To College

Tim and I dropped off Mitch at Luther College last Sunday. The dorm room Mitch is in (Miller Hall) is set up with two double rooms with a doorway between them both. Mitch and his three room-mates had this idea of having one room as a "sleeping" room and one room as a "lounging" room. We'll see if that works out...I asked him to take some photos after he and his room-mates had everything set up.

I think between the four of them they have four televisions...I think three of them are Mitch's.

We'll miss Mitchell but know that he likes Luther and playing with the baseball team there. His room-mates are from Mason City, IA, Brainerd, MN and another area in Iowa.
